Am I POSITIVE? - Yes, I am!!!!! Optimism is good for everyone! It's not just a fantasy...because I can make it a reality.

I love fantasy art..it is so inspiring and gives me lots of ideas....Thus it is like Positive Art which helps me visualize the best in things around me. Positive movies, paintings, songs, buildings, poems, stories, ..and more.

In keeping with my theme:I will attempt to always keep the sunshine in my heart and share with others the cool breezes of my smiles as much as possible.

I will Visualize the good things and dream how to be amazing so I can make it a reality! :)

Positive Art 2011-11 - Rainbow in Swizterland

This is the famous Geneva fountain in Swizterland! Just came back from a wonderful trip and took so many photos it is mind boggling. Lake Geneva is a wonderful place. There is a very tall fountain here called the Jet d'eau.. For more indepth infor on this check out this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fountain This fountain is turned on every day. It is an artform in an of itself. Inspirational in so many ways: the majestic look and feel of it, the cooling water mists..you can actually walk out very close to the fountain...and this thing is tall (shoots up to 459 feet)! A short 35 second video on Youtube gives you another good view: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cF4q-MkTMSM

However, the art form that happened while I was watching it one day here was a rainbow which formed in the fountain. One late afternoon the sun was shining in just the right spot where I was standing...so I took a couple of snapshots of the rainbow in the fountain. It made me smile as rainbows always do. Smiles!

Where there is water....look for the rainbow...if it isn't there yet...be the rainbow!

Positive Art 2011 - 10 - The School Rock

You may wonder why a school rock would be positive art...but if you think about it for a minute you will see that it is a great way to share feelings of joy, reunion, graduation, memory for a lost classmate and much more. Recently I had participated in and attended my high school reunion...Foster High School. We had a rock and have had it for a long time..but I never got a chance to paint it. So I made sure this time I would. It was so much fun. A small group of maybe 15 of us got together and had a fun time doing it. The Star and Stripes were my idea but the execution was by others....using masking tape and canned spray paint. It sure looks good...our reunion was a couple of weeks ago in Mid July ...2011.....I drove by the rock and it still says '71 Rules'...I guess it must be true. Positive Art? You bet it made me feel good!!!!!
